Q1- Why Did You Choose Psychology As Your Career?
I chose Psychology because I’ve always been fascinated by the intricacies of the human mind and behaviour. Understanding the complexities of individuals and helping them navigate through challenges is not only intellectually stimulating but also incredibly rewarding.
I was also interested in the mind- body connection that led me to study Holistic Healing and other Alternative modalities such as Bach Flower Remedies, Reiki, Clinical Hypnotherapy, NLP( Neuro Linguistic Programming), IEMT( Integral Eye Movement Therapy) etc.
What are the challenges of being a psychologist?
Balancing emotional involvement with professional detachment and managing the emotional toll that some cases can take are common challenges.
What is the hardest part of being a psychologist?
The most challenging aspect is witnessing individuals struggle and not always being able to provide immediate solutions. It requires patience and perseverance.

Q1) What are the 4 main premises of holistic medicine?
Ans: Holistic medicine is an attitudinal approach to health care rather than a particular set of techniques. It addresses the psychological, familial, societal, ethical, and spiritual as well as biological dimensions of health and illness.
Q2) What are the 3 parts of holistic health?
Ans: Mind, body, and spirit — these aspects of each patient are considered to be intertwined and essential to achieving optimal health. Human beings are comprised of physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual elements is another way to look at it. It focuses on natural healing.
Q3) On what principles is a holistic healing technique based?
Ans: Holistic therapy is also founded on the concept of overall health, and that a person is ultimately responsible for their own well-being. Healing is a team approach including the patient and the doctor and uses a range of health care practices to treat all aspects of a person's life.
Q4) Why is holistic healing important?
Ans: Holistic healing aims to identify the root cause, or causes, of an imbalance (whether it is physical pain, stress, poor sleep, etc.). As a result, a patient feels completely considered and cared for, a benefit missing from many modern medical practices.
Q5) What is a holistic doctor called?
Ans: Naturopathic physicians: These are also called naturopathic doctors (ND) or doctors of naturopathic medicine (NMD). They usually attend an accredited four-year, graduate-level school. There they study basic sciences similar to those studied in conventional medical school

The holistic healing takes care of all three aspects of the human being, mind, body, and spirit. The word holistic derives its origin from the ancient Greek word, ‘holos’, meaning the whole. The term holism was introduced in 1926 by Jan Christian Smuts. In the holistic treatment, all three aspects of the human being are given due consideration for the wellbeing of the person.
All these aspects are inextricably connected and a dynamic balance between three is an essential component of a real well being of the human being. Any imbalance in one leads to an imbalance in two others and manifests in the form of a disease. Holistic healing views the person receiving the treatment in totality as a human being, in the context of the surroundings, which ensures that the holistic healing is based on the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs of the person
